Honestly I don't even know what a lot of those things are. I think the important take away is that you work with a host that can help you through many of those issues. If you're well versed in these things that's great. For me, I'm not even a novice as a server admin so I wanted a host that could manage these things for me. Thanks for the comments. I'd also make sure you add any other modules, etc before you do the move. You might want eaccelerator, zend, suPHP, Suhosin, mod_deflate, mod_security, and customized configuration files, and so on, and its best do do this before you switch over your DNS so you'll have less downtime.
