I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he's speaking from ignorance. The stuff he's encountered the on the internet may be more of the random fan opinions on ESPN.com/etc., rather than real-live blogs run by people with regular, coherent insights. Also, he's probably letting the talk radio people influence his perceptions of internet-based commentators. But the name calling is bothersome . . .
